The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all-India common engineering entrance examination that is held for admission to various engineering colleges and courses throughout India. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programs in BE, B. Tech, and B Arch at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions, institutions funded by several participating state governments, and other institutions may apply for the exam. The JEE (Main) will also serve as an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate must take if he or she wishes to be admitted to the undergraduate programs offered by the IITs/ISM Dhanbad.

The JEE Main 2022 exam will be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in four sessions: February, March, April, and May. The registration process for JEE Main 2022 will begin in November on The JEE Main dates for 2022 will be announced soon.

Candidates who have registered for NTA JEE Main 2022 will be able to download their admit cards from the official website. Before completing the application form, students should review the NTA’s eligibility criteria. Qualified students will be able to participate in the admissions counseling process for engineering colleges that accept JEE Main scores.

The NTA will publish the JEE Main 2022 exam dates for all four sessions on the official website. Candidates interested in taking the JEE Main 2022 exam should review the eligibility requirements for the exam, which are listed below:

Nationality: Indian nationals, OCI/PIOs, and foreign nationals are eligible to apply for IIT JEE Main 2022.

Age Criteria: There is no set age limit for taking JEE Main.

Academic Requirements:

In 2020 or 2021, the candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam. The students giving the board exam in the same year will also be eligible.

Students who took the 10+2 exam in 2016 but did not pass and then retook the exam in 2019 are not eligible to apply.


To take the exam, candidates must fill out the JEE Main 2022 application form. Students must carefully read the exam information brochure before filling out the application form. Only candidates who meet the above-mentioned JEE Main 2022 eligibility requirements will be permitted to register for the exam. Candidates who are interested in applying must do so before the deadline.


To fill out the JEE Main application form, candidates must follow the steps outlined below.

  • Visit the JEE Main or NTA official websites.
  • Fill out the “JEE Main 2022 Application Form” button.
  • Fill out the online application form carefully and only with correct information.
  • Prepare a scanned photograph, signature, and left thumb impression to upload when completing the application form.
  • After entering all of the information, pay the application fee.
  • Take a printout of the completed application form for future use.


Students must exercise extreme caution when completing the online JEE Main application form 2022. If a candidate submits an application form that contains errors, the authority will give them the opportunity to correct the application form. Only a few details will be allowed to be changed or modified by candidates. As a result, the candidate should double-check the application form before submitting it.


The JEE Main 2022 syllabus will be released by the National Testing Agency to inform candidates about the topics that must be covered during the JEE Main preparation. The JEE Main syllabus will include topics and concepts about which questions will be asked in the entrance exam. JEE Main 2022 Counseling: Following the announcement of the results, the board can announce the detailed schedule of JEE Main 2022 counsel. There are separate timetables for All India Rank and state-level counseling.

The counseling method will be implemented beginning in the third week of June 2022.

JEE Main 2022 counseling is done entirely online.

JoSAA and CSAB organize a centralized counsel in multiple rounds.

Candidates must register in order to appear in the counsel.
