7-day Dinner Menu: Something for Everyone

Not sure what to serve for dinner this week? Here's a few homemade, 'tummy-filling' menu ideas that everyone will enjoy. They are always a big hit with my family. ENJOY!



-Jambalaya (Chicken, Shrimp and Sausage)

Green Beans

Sweet Corn Muffins

Oatmeal Cookies



-Hearty Noodle Soup

Double-Decker Toasted Cheese Sandwiches

Green Salad

Cake Muffins



-Veggie Stir Fry over Rice

Grilled Pork Sausage Link

StringBean Casserole

Buttered Rolls

Cheesecake



-Fried Catfish

Mixed Veggies

Hushpuppies

Green Salad

Sweet Potatoes/Yams



-Chicken/Beef Pot Pie

Mashed Potatoes w/gravy

Dinner Rolls

Cooked Carrots

Iced CinnaminBread/Cake



-Fried Chicken Breasts & Legs

Potato Salad

Corn-on-Cob

Dinner Biscuits

Apple Pie



-All-you-can-eat Chilli dogs (KIDS NIGHT)

Onion Rings

Marinated Bean Salad

Pudding / Ice Cream Shake



Each meal is complemented with a delicious dessert. Guaranteed to put a smile on your loved one's face. :) You can use your favorite recipes OR store-bought items. Plenty of the items come in ready-made packages. Just heat and serve or Just add water!



Here are some tips that I use all the time.

-Bulk up canned soups with EXTRA veggies.

-Add frozen veggies & leftover baked chicken to 'Ramen' noodles packs.

-Use store-bought mixes and spice them up with your fave seasonings.

-Buy a bagged salad mix and add your faves.

-Keep Dinner Rolls in the freezer, they go great with MANY meals.

-Cut Corn-on-Cob in half to make more servings.

-Preserve leftover pie by individually wrapping slices.

-Beef up Canned Chilli with your fave spices and meats.

-Top Frozen Pizza's with favorite veggie toppings and cheese.

-Spice up store-bought cake mixes and frostings with flavorings such as lemon, chocolate powder, pudding, etc...

-Save recipes included on food packaging in your kitchen scrapbook for later use.



Other Main Courses to serve are:

-Hearty Chilli

-Stove Top Stuffing

-Grilled Chicken cutlets smothered in Gravy & croutons

-Spaghetti & Meatballs

-Linguini (Rich Chocolate Cake for dessert)

-Beef & Potato Stew
